Due to the expanded scope of civil construction, repair, and renovation works within the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party, applications are invited from bona fide Bangladeshi citizens for the position of Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil) on a contractual basis, subject to the following conditions, to ensure the smooth and efficient management of engineering-related activities:

• Name of the Post: Contractual Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil)
• Number of vacant posts: 05 (five)
• Salary and Allowances:
  • Consolidated salary of Tk. 31,500/- (thirty-one thousand five hundred) [comprising Basic Pay of Tk. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand), other allowances of Tk. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand), and an allowance equivalent to the cost of 01 (one) unit of rations amounting to Tk. 1,500/- (one thousand five hundred)];
  • Contractual Sub-Assistant Engineers with extensive experience will receive a consolidated salary and allowances of Tk. 36,500/- (thirty-six thousand five hundred) [comprising Basic Pay of Tk. 20,000/- (twenty thousand) and other allowances of Tk. 16,500/- (sixteen thousand five hundred)];
  • Annual salary increment will be determined at the rate of 5% of the basic pay;
  • Entitlement to 02 (two) festival allowances, each equivalent to the basic pay;
  • Entitlement to a New Year’s allowance at the rate of 20% (twenty percent) of the basic pay;
  • Entitlement to actual travel allowances subject to approval; and
  • Entitlement to a mobile bill allowance of Tk. 500/- (five hundred) per month.
• Eligibility:
  • Minimum educational qualification: Diploma in Engineering (Civil); however, a 3rd Division or a CGPA below 2.5 in any examination is not acceptable;
  • Must have at least 3 (three) years of experience in civil construction, repair, and building-related works; candidates with greater experience will be given preference; and
  • The candidate’s age must not exceed 35 years as of September 10, 2026. Affidavits are not acceptable as proof of age; however, the age limit may be relaxed for candidates with extensive experience.
